• Permanent member of the Swedish Amateurradio Association, SSA.

The development of the hobby goes extremely fast, it's not just telegraphy that characterizes the hobby anymore (although this mode of operating still attracts many of us and is considered a bit of an art form), it really lies in the cutting edge of technology with digital communication and computer support. An example of this is AMPRNet, the radio amateurs' own "Internet" where there is a large play room for experiments.
